Lenders pay Loans Edmonton; you never do. Below is exactly when a fee is paid, what it can and cannot touch, what the apply link tells the platform, and what we never learn about your application.
When a fee is paid
A licensed lender pays us a referral fee at one moment only: when it funds a loan for a person who came to it through this site. Declined applications earn nothing. Abandoned forms earn nothing. A loan cancelled under Alberta's rule, before the end of the second day after you receive the agreement, earns nothing either. On the lender's books the fee is marketing spend, the same line as a transit shelter ad on Jasper Avenue or a radio spot during the morning drive on the Whitemud.
Your cost does not move
The fee is not added to your loan and it does not raise the price of it. A payday lender sets its cost at or below the Alberta cap of $14 per $100, so a $300 loan costs $42 and $342 comes back in instalments over your next three paydays.
That price is the same if you found the lender here, in a search result or from a coworker on a Nisku shop floor. An installment lender quotes its APR under the federal 35% ceiling on the same basis. We take no share of any repayment.

What the apply link carries
The apply link carries a site code that names loansedmonton.ca to the platform, so that a funded loan can be matched back to this site. It carries nothing about you: no name, no location, no record of the page you read. Your browser sends no referrer. The privacy page covers this in full.
What we never see
We never see your application, your bank connection, your credit file, the lender's decision or the terms you sign. The platform matches on income, province and chequing account, and it sends us nothing beyond a notice that a loan funded and the fee owed. We do not know which lender approved you and could not tell you if you asked.

No lender buys a place here
No lender pays for placement, ranking or a mention on this site, and none is named on it. We publish no lender reviews, keep no list of favourites and steer no reader toward one company over another, from Castle Downs to Beaumont. The fee gives us a reason to want your loan to fund with a lender that approves you and no influence over which lender that is.
What the fee does not make us
Receiving a referral fee does not make us a lender, a broker or an adviser. The about page explains who runs the site, the terms of use set the rules of the relationship, and questions go through the contact page.
